This is a complete kit for quietly cooling your cabinet or multimedia center.
This deluxe unit is fitted with two very quiet 1200 RPM fans coupled with our new Thermal Fan Controller with LED Display. On/Off Temperature is easily programmable for maximum cooling. The 12V Low speed fans are are powered by the included power converter and quiet enough to operate in your bedroom.

Like most media cabinets, mine has very poor ventilation. For years we just left the doors open to maximize airflow - but even that wasn't sufficient. Now we have a toddler in the house so we had to close it off. I started with thin tight mesh fabric in place of the glass in the door to allow air to pass through, but everything overheated badly. We couldn't even turn on some devices (e.g. game consoles) without opening the door and taking the device out.

The coolerguys fans and thermal controllers solves this problem perfectly for me! I started with one Dual-120mm fan kit and devices stopped overheating and making scary noises. With the LED controller, I was able to see that the temp was still fairly high inside the cabinet - largely because I installed the fan behind the cloth mesh, which severely restricted airflow. I bought a second unit without the LED controller and installed that in the back panel of the cabinet. Now air flows through beautifully. The fans only run when needed and it keeps the temp inside the cabinet reasonable even when everything is running.

I did have one problem with a faulty LED controller. It worked, but the display was garbled. Coolerguys replaced that for me without any problems, and the new one works great. This is a great product - I highly recommend it to anyone with overheating media cabinets.
