iBuyPower GAMER POWER AM656FX Desktop Review

Look, for the parts in this computer (including the 8-core processor, which is what sold me on it), this PC is a pretty good value, but I honestly wouldn't buy this if you're not technically proficient. When it arrived, I immediately had to remove the PCI Video card to get it to connect to my monitor, and had to re-install drivers just to get it working. The DVD drive's SATA cable had worked it's way loose in shipping, and a few minor problems like that. Now all that took me only a couple hours to diagnose and fix, and now it's working fine, so I am happy with it, but if you're uncomfortable taking it apart and doing some hardware fixes, go with something a little more name-brand.

Microcone USB Microphone Array Review

I was searching for a microphone that I could use in a conference room at the office for Skype meetings with many people in the room. I had several demonstrations from A/V vendors come to the office. The requirement was that it needed to work with Skype since we have so many remote employees and partners and Skype meetings are very frequent around here. We tried several demos including in-ceiling microphone arrays etc. but none of them were that great and in some cases, 10x the price!

I found the Microcone when I searched Amazon for a USB microphone array and took a chance on it since Amazon has a great return policy. Everyone I have asked says the sound quality is exceptionally clear and everyone can be heard from all areas of the room. I have tried both close up (appx 12") and as far as about 12'.

This is an exceptional product and I'm very pleased.

Original LG 29EA93 29" IPS Panel Panorama Monitor 21:9 2560x1080 High-Resolution DVI-D HDMI USB MHL DP Port Review

The 29EA93 is working perfectly here, with an eye-popping, bright, sharp display.

So far I've mostly used it for PC display, not much movie watching or gaming.

Bought on Feb. 17, 2013.

The monitor is very lightweight compared to my reliable old stand-by, the Samsung 240t. [not surprising]

The packaging and shipment were amazing, it looked like a bright, colorful birthday present, with a handle on the box, completely wrapped in plastic, directly from S. Korea, got to here [N.J.] in only three days after order placement. Fed-ex did very well for me again, as usual. Shipping/handling was $12.99. (!)

I wish they would get the DCC ["Display Data Channel"] computer communications working . . . the capacitive-touch menus are rather tedious/jumping-through-hoops to switch the PIP and other stuff. Well, few other manufacturers seem to be interested in it. LG just needs to provide the DDC computer app., evidently the monitor is capable of talking with it, but I have no way to test it.
Otherwise, the touch-buttons work just fine.

No height adjustment on the stand, the cheapskates.

The PIP, by the way, seems to be a quickly vanishing breed, and it works quite well on this display.

I'm using it with a c.2005 Dell 9100 desktop PC, with an Radeon 5670 card, Displayport connection, the 2560x1080p @60hz, 32-bit color signal works perfectly.

I'd buy another one of these displays.

The computer seems fine, I have pavilion dv6 bought two years ago, the old appears to be built much more stonger, I really do not understand why there is no disk drive built in, it is thinner than my old computer just in front, is the same thickness but the paviion has Blue - Ray burner . The touch screen is excellent.
