Lexmark T640 T642 T644 Toner - High Yield 21K Remanufactured Print Cartridge replaces 64035HA, 64080HW and 64015HA Review

Ordered two as backups. Ordered Nov 8th. The first went into use Jan 22nd. It printed lightly with poor coverage and lasted less than 1/2 the time of the original Lexmark High Yield cartridges. My thought was... well you get what you pay for. The second came out of the box printing like an empty cartridge. Very light with poor, spotty and no coverage. Worthless. So, no, you don't get what you pay for. Unfortunately I'm past the deadline for returning the items via Amazon. No more refills for me. In the end they cost more than the originals with less print quality. When will I learn?

UPDATE: 4-9-13 After posting the above review and giving this item a ONE STAR I was contacted by the re-manufacturer of this product and offered two free replacements. The replacements were shipped over-night. Into the printer and presto... the first works like it should. Clean, clear full coverage print.

Leaving this review at three stars because of the hassle/frustration factor, until we see how long the cartridge works properly and because the first two were a disappointment. If you're willing to work at it, the cost savings are probably worth the risk. The company has been extremely eager to make up for the disappointment. FIVE STARS for damage control and working to resolve this exchange.
