Original bulb for the HD33 was still working, but had exceeded recommended hours. After checking for a replacement at several online projector lamp sites, was unable to find this bulb assembly in stock. I use the Optoma HD33 projector daily for TV and movies in Home Theater - so if the bulb blows, the system is out of commission.

Amazon.com offered a great price and had the replacement bulb assembly in stock.

Easy to replace. Brightness is significantly improved over the 2 year + original bulb. (Saved the original bulb to use in case of emergency.)
