Avatar Gaming PC FX6161 Desktop Review

This computer was purchased about a week and a half ago from newegg.com. It is so much faster then my old HP Pavilion (purchased in 2009) and runs windows 8 smoothly. This computer was purchased for normal use and some light gaming (The Sims 3). It is a perfect fit for me. An added bonus was that it didn't come with pre-installed nonsense like most computers do, so I didn't have to spend forever uninstalling all the bloatware. I play The Sims 3 with the effects on high and I am so shocked at the difference, it plays it effortlessly. I understand that this computer isn't going to be for a huge gamer and I don't really think it was intended to be with it's current hardware. However, there is so much space on the inside you can upgrade. As far as windows 8 goes, I love it. The transition from windows 7 to windows 8 was a little tricky at first but after a week or so you get the hang of it. And for the price, it can't be beat! I recommend this computer to anyone looking for their first gaming machine, or anyone just looking for a good computer all around ^^
