I purchased this switch for my home network and wanted to store it in my media center furniture.
I did not realize that it's a full size switch when looking at the product page on Amazon.

On top of its size, the noise generated by the fan is also a bit annoying for home usage. Unless you can put it somewhere where noise wouldn't be a problem, it would not recommend using this for your average home network.

It certainly is a great switch, but I did pay enough attention to the product details on Amazon.
