Let me first start off by saying, I play games, but I am not a "Gamer". So, I use this mouse for work/play 80%/20% respectively.

While this mouse looks very similar to the R.A.T. models, with this mouse, the only adjustable part is the palm length. This was an oversight on my part and I was pretty disappointed when the mouse finally arrived. I think, at this price point, the mouse should at least give you the ability to change the thumb and pinky grips.

Wireless: I loved the R.A.T. 9, but since I work on a laptop in different areas of the house...the required USB cable didn't work for me. So, when I read about this mouse several weeks ago, I got pretty excited. The nano USB dongle is great and if you have a Bluetooth 4.0 device, you can skip the dongle and connect it directly.

Software: This is where I feel they missed on this mouse <Bummer>. There is no way to change or modify the DPI of the mouse. The only way to increase mouse speed, is to modify the pointer speed within the basic OS settings. Some people may not find this to be an issue, but with me, I don't see how they can call this a gaming mouse without this feature. I am sure this had to be sacrificed for Bluetooth/Battery; since, they only mouse I have found that can do Wireless/DPI is the Logitech G700 and I have re replace the (AA) battery daily. I don't use the shortcut/macro/mapping functions, so I can't give an insightful review of them. All I can say is that there options within the provided software.

Feel: This mouse feels great in my hand and has proper weight. Like mentioned before, I wish I could have modified the mouse a little more.

Function: I like the placement of the buttons. The locations are similar, if not identical to the R.A.T. models. I love how smooth the scroll is and the precision button is nice to have.

Summary: This is a great mouse and my rating is based on the product. I didn't thoroughly research the mouse before purchasing and didn't decrease the rating because of this and my disappointment. At this price point, you don't get a lot for your money. If they provided the ability to modify the DPI and provided more ways to customize the grip of the mouse; I could justify the price tag. If you are looking for a true wireless mouse and don't mind using the mouse in one DPI setting, this is a great mouse. I just wish this mouse was the R.A.T. 9 with Bluetooth.
