I was doing a research and was undecided if getting this AMD 7850 or the EVGA 650 ti SSC (overclocked). At the end I went to futuremark, read many other reviews and found this card with an exceptional performance and superior by far to the 650 ti Overclocked and also superior to the GTX 560 ti 448, Awesome!!! I have uploaded a couple of pictures inside a CM HAF 912.
Here is some important info that can help you to decide:

PROS and some INFO:
- This card is a beast! 860Mhz clock, 1200Hz speed and 1024 processors. GDDR 5 and PCI-E 3.0.
- First if you have internet connection, forget about the disc and dowload the drivers from amd directly. You can use Catalyst 13.1 version. I am using it and I have noticed an increase in FPS performance without any issues. You can connect the card to your TV or monitor out of the box but the drivers are needed for configuration. By the way I could not download the drives from XFX because the file was not downloading completely, reason why I got them from amd website.
- The card plays excellent top high end games with exceptional frame rates. I got 7.9 in windows experience Index.
- I tested Tomb Raider (avg. 85 fps @1080p high to ultra settings)Dirt 2 and Dirt 3 ( AVG. 126fps ultra @ 1080p), Dishonored maxed out 1080p (Avg. 99 fps), COD BO 1 and 2 @ 1080p maxed out (avg. 111 fps), Farcry 3 1080p mid to high settings ( Avg 98fps) take in consideration that for optimal resolution FC3 needs a 7970 video card, and hitman Absolution maxed out 1080p high settings (Avg. 104 fps).
- I am getting those FPS but you will notice tearing in some frames, you can correct that by enabling V-sync in the settings of the game but you will be getting 59-60 FPS only depending on the refresh rate of your monitor. I am using a Panasonic TCL42U30 1080p 60Hz refresh rate as a monitor. If you use a monitor with a higher refresh rate, your FPS will incrrease IF your monitor supports higher refresh rates enablign v-sync.
- I ran some test in Can You run it, and for Batman Arkam city, Battelfield 3, Serious SAM, Max Payne, DMC reboot, Dead Space 3, Crysis 3 and the card meets the recommended settings. for Crysis 3 it does not reach the Optimal settings since it needs an AMD 7970 or GTX 690.
- The card idles at 29-30 C in an ambient temperature of 28-33 C, the top temperature I've seen is 70C. You can adjust the Fan speed in the catalyst control to 60%, so far it has decreased 5C in full load which is excellent!
- You can use MSI afterburner tool to monitor the card.
- I overclocked it only once to 900Mhz and I did noticed an increase in FC3, how ever I switch it back to the default settings because it performs great at stock speeds (overclock under your own risk).
- 1080p movies play awesome
- The tesselation and geometry due to the compatibility with Directx 11.1 is great and provides excellent enviroment details.
- Not loud at full load with the fan running at 60%.
- It uses a single 6 pin PCI-E connector.
- No lags at all in the games I have tested.
- the difference between this one and other XFX 1gb version, is the heatsink. This one does not have the copper heatpipes, it includes a heatsink.

CONS:
- Not so many so far, compared to the 2gb version you will notice an increase in performance in HUGE and I will stress the word HUGE open world games like Skyrim, in which is noticeable the increase in FPS with the 2gb version.
- Not so many information about how to tweak the settings in AMD catalyst, you will need to read the breaf description by leaving the pointer in the setting you want to tweak or do your homework in google or visit amd for further info.

I highly recommend this card to anyone builiding a gaming or budget rig. This card runs everything you throw at it at 1080p!!!
