I just got this printer recently so I can't speak to its long term reliability. My biggest annoyance in recent years with laser printers is how difficult some of them are to connect to your existing networks. Some require the use of ethernet cables and identifying and typing in IP addresses, a confusing and arduous process at times. For the average small business like mine I am the IT guy and although I am fairly savvy, I prefer simplicity. I could tell from its descriptions that this was well thought out in this new Dell printer. It didn't take 10 minutes to set up, very easy and idiot proof. Once you set it up, removes packing tapes, insert the toner, then you insert the CD that comes with it on your pc, click on Wireless and the rest is automatic. It doesn't require any network password either. The printer warms up fast and print quality is first class.
