Was going to wait for the R9 290X but then I saw the price. I bought this on 10/9 when the price is 590 USD. The card is solidly built and fits into a mini ATX case. Temperatures are good, about 75 degrees Celsius when running Furmark for 2 hours. This card handles all the games I threw at it. I do notice coil whine when the GPU is under load (games), but when I am playing with the speakers on or with a headphone on I wouldn't notice it. There isn't any game that this card can't handle at 1080p. This card isn't perfect because of the coil whine, but that is the only con I can gather from it. It should last me well until the 20nm cards start coming out. Also, I'm using 13.11 driver, no microstuttering whatsoever.
Recommend this card if you can't wait for the new generation of cards or if you don't mind the coil whine.
