This drive (Hitachi model # 0S03503 4TB external USB3 hard drive) has performed flawlessly during more than two months of use on my Mac laptop. It is very quiet during operation, with no noticeable vibration. It runs cool even in heavy use. On a Mac, installation is plug and play.
