The Logitech c930e is awesome. I'm currently using it on an Acer 5250 laptop with no lag or hiccups what so ever with just Skype alone.
does not require any drives for this to work since this is a business model and NOT a consumer model.
Comes with a lens to cover it for privacy or to protect from damage to the lens.

PROS:
1080p @30 Frames per Second- Skype video calling (have not tested with any other Instant Messengers.)

CONS:
Small thin cord. (NO IMPROVEMENT)(can get a short in this cord if not taken extreme care for just like the C920)
Currently has problems running on the SKYPE DESKTOP CLIENT (Must use windows 8 Skype App from the marketplace)(Unsure about windows 7)
Expensive.

EXTRAS:
Has 2 white leds on both sides of the camera when in use)(like shown in the picture)
Gets a little warm after 2 hours of use in 1080p on skype
