Deluxe Quad LCD Monitor Stand Free Standing up to 4 28" Review

I just got this stand set up last night, and it is great. The tension on the mounts is perfect for me, tight enough that both 25s I have mounted don't slip, but the 23s on top can be adjusted without feeling like they are about to snap. Assembly was very simple, and the instructions are quite adequate. It is extremely flexible in positioning both the arms and the mounts, but it does have fixed arms (which is states in the description). As such, it will never be quite as flexible as a mount with adjustable arms. The mounts slide back and forth along the arm so they can be positioned anywhere on the horizontal plane, and the arms are very adjustable along the support column for vertical adjustment. I did have to use the supplied additional mounting plate that goes through the cable grommet on the desk however, as by itself with just the stand it was not as stable to the sides as I liked (I have a large and adventurous cat). It might be usable without the extra plate if you use smaller monitors, but I personally would recommend using the plate no matter what just to be safe. All in all, I highly recommend this unit.
