Have installed and am running windows 7 (clean install) on my Sony VGN-TZ170N. Great speed boost to start up, programs running, etc. I would recommend this product to other TZ owners looking to upgrade to SSD. Will see how it holds up and performs over time. This product came with no instructions, information, of any sort. Did all my research/homework online prior to ordering.

Update 19 May 2013, after using this SSD for several months, I am disappointed by "hangs" which happen frequently. The startup times are great, but have issues from resume, and during casual use with hangs in the middle of working on a task.
